For over 39 years, I have assisted clients address their financial concerns and develop sound strategies by focusing on each individual's specific needs. With extensive experience throughout major shifts in the markets, I have dedicated my career to providing personalized investment planning services to my clients.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1980. After spending five years in the insurance industry, I began my career as a Financial Advisor with Dean Witter in 1985, where I developed my fundamental investment knowledge. I joined First Albany Corporation, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors, in 1989.
I have been honored of being named as one of the Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors* in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. I believe this recognition reflects my commitment to one mission – helping my clients succeed.
It is my goal to develop a relationship with you in which I play a key role in your financial life. Throughout life changes as well as market fluctuations, I coordinate the investment planning process for you. The first steps include identifying your risk tolerance and goals, prioritizing them, and developing a plan to help you pursue your vision for the future. I will continue to meet to review your plan and track your progress toward your financial goals. I am dedicated to putting your needs first – not only looking at your investment portfolio with a renewed perspective, but also keeping your investments in sync with the rest of your life. My comprehensive approach touches on often neglected areas such as cash management, wealth transfer issues, asset management and the prudent use of strategies that have the potential to help prevent outliving your retirement income. In addition, I am frequently asked to coordinate recommendations with other professionals, such as attorneys and accountants, to help make sure they are working together as a cohesive team.
My free time is spent with my wife, Laura, and our two daughters and their families. I enjoy woodturning, gardening, and reading. I am involved in several non–profit groups in the Long Island area including volunteering with Hospitality Too, a soup kitchen which provides meals for those in need.
